But to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not learned what some call the deep things of Satan, to you I say, I do not lay on you any other burden. 25Only hold fast what you have until I come.

Jezebel was a wicked, pagan queen in the days of Elijah, but her spirit lives on today and remains one of the biggest threats to God’s people.
The spirit of Jezebel is one in the same as the spirit of harlot Babylon — using the allure of sexual seduction to lead the world into all forms of immorality and idolatry. Satan uses this spirit to gain power and control over the lives of people and entire institutions.
Just as Elijah stood boldly against Queen Jezebel and her false prophets of Baal, God is calling His people to withstand this evil spirit today.
