As in the Days of Noah — Genetic Engineering

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.

[Genesis 6:9]

What does genetic engineering, cloning, designer babies, and mRNA technology have to do with the days of Noah?

Much more than you can possibly imagine.

When geneticists first began to map the human genome in the early 1990s through the Human Genome Project, scientists were able for the first time “to read nature’s complete genetic blueprint for building a human being.” Initial sequencing of the human genome was accomplished in 2003 but was not considered complete until May of last year (2021).

This unprecedented discovery has opened the Pandora’s box of genetic applications that were considered science fiction merely 20 years ago. Now that geneticists have identified specific genes and the digital code that distinctly programs each one in function, the field of genetics has exploded past information theory and accelerated into clinical fields of gene therapy, engineering, and alteration.

The result has been astonishing if not terrifying altogether.

With little regulation and international competition driving the industry, we are now seeing everything from genetically modified food (GMO) to animal/human chimeras to pet cloning to enhanced super soldiers among others.

CRISPR Cas-9 Gene Editing | Blog | Finance Technology ...

Perhaps the most revolutionary technology to date, however, is the advent of CRISPR Cas9, which has effectively changed the future of genetics. CRISPR stands for Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats and is basically a cut and paste gene-editing technology that allows scientists to alter and upgrade defective genes within human DNA and recode it with new information for correction.

CRISPR is efficient both in cost and application, which makes the technology most appealing to the pioneers of genetics, yet for those seeking to manipulate DNA beyond the present boundaries of human existence, CRISPR is the potential pathway to transhumanism — or the belief that biotechnology can recreate mankind into a new species altogether. Although such radical technologies initially are always justified under the guise of medical breakthrough to better humanity, the ethical implications literally are blurring the lines of what it means to be human as created in the image of God.

NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN

So back to my original question? What does this revolutionary technology have to do with Noah’s day?

First, Genesis 6 provides the initial framework for the original genetic corruption of God’s creation, which in turn led to the global destruction of all life — save Noah — by way of the flood. The Bible introduces us to the great supernatural rebellion in Genesis 6, which led to the forbidden transgression of God’s law and perversion of the created order itself.

The “sons of God” in Genesis 6 are the same “angels that sinned,” according to 2 Peter 2:4-5 and Jude 1:6-7, namely by leaving their proper domain in the heavenly realm and crossing over into the physical world to commit profane acts of sexual immorality that resulted in the creation of a hybrid race of giants called the Nephilim.

So gross and pervasive was this corruption of the human race in Noah’s day that God determined to destroy all genetically compromised life on earth and preserve the only human family left that had not yet been genetically tainted. It is against the backdrop of this genetic corruption that we fully understand how God saved the human race through Noah, who was “perfect and blameless in his generations” [Genesis 6:9].

The Hebrew word “blameless” in Genesis 6:9 is tamim: תָּמִים — which means to be physically pure without defect or blemish. It is the same word used of the passover lamb in the Torah, which had to pure and spotless physically — without flaw or defect.

Aside from Noah’s righteousness and spiritual integrity, he and his family by all accounts were the last true genetically intact humans on the planet, still bearing the image of God. As we see, it was not only humanity that had been corrupted prior to the flood, but also all plant and animal life seems to have been compromised, as the LORD preserved two of every “kind” of animal on the ark to ensure that the animal kingdom was not lost to genetically altered chimeras and hybrid monstrosities that did not reflect God’s original creation.

Strangely enough, the ancient mythical stories of centaurs, manticores, and griffins are more likely fact than fiction, and with the advancements in genetic engineering taking place today, we now have the potential for the same type of corruption that threatened the existence of mankind in Noah’s day.

When Jesus warned us that the last days leading to His coming judgment would be as it was in the days of Noah, He was giving us prophetic insight into a day and age when the spiritual forces of darkness would once again attempt to corrupt God’s image and pervert God’s creation by means of genetic manipulation.

We are living in that day, and like Noah … we have the responsibility to call the world to repentance before it is too late.

May God have mercy on this world.

Absolutely. Transgenderism is a key component to transhumanism Redefining what it means to be human.

Why did you choose to use the 6 colored Gay Pride rainbow vs 7 colored rainbow from the Bible?

The Bible says that all the ‘children of pride’ have a king set over them to rule them, and that king is the Devil who shows up as Leviathan in the book of Job:

“He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.” Job 41:34 (KJV)

Hey DM … i didnt delete your comment. Im certainly not using a “6 colored” rainbow to promote the LGBTQ agenda. I am using the rainbow as a reclamation of the sign of Noahs covenant. As far as i am
Concerned the rainbow in my logo is the 7 colored rainbow— as indigo and violet are both represented.

God had set a “Natural Order” of things. We were made in the image of God and He became flesh to redeem MANKIND. He did not take on the form of angels. The Gen 6 account distorted DNA and the Nephilim result was not in the image of God: thus, irredeemable and a pure “seed” had to also be preserved. I don’t think we will have a return of the giants as some believe. They miss the point of days of Noah meaning the corruption of Gods natural order. It is also referred to as a temptation in the book of Revelation. Transgenderism has come so far as to be at the point of an actual male, female combination. We are in the days of Noah now.

I would like to read this article more carefully and discuss with you

Michael. Thank you for your insights. I truly appreciate the fact you took the time to message me. I agree that the great sin of the watchers was that they forsook their first estate and abandoned their proper domain and violated God’s created order. Their offspring were hybrid sons procreated in the image of the watchers and not the image of God, which is precisely why God preserved Noah and destroyed the earth of these profane creatures the Nephilim. As far as giants emerging again in the last days that is still to be determined. I believe at least the Beast will be a giant like Nimrod, but i could be wrong. But in a strict sense, any human that is genetically altered and mixed with another species, whether animal or angels, is Nephilim.

I would like to add that it is highly probable that the “mark of the beast ” will include DNA altering technology in the name of health advancement to prevent these so called pandemics. That’s why no one taking the mark can be saved. Once you change your DNA from “the image of God”, you cannot be redeemed.

Fascinating that the subject you present is what the Holy Spirit has led me to these last two to three years!

I’d like to add that no matter what “science” finds in human dna, there is dna that cannot and will not be discovered, by God’s design.
The Holy Spirit gave me the wisdom that there is some things inside humans that are dormant, in our dna, waiting to be called upon, as in “My sheep hear My voice” may not necessarily be a “spiritual”, unexplainable phenomena.
That is why evil is hell bent on changing human dna=that when we hear the last trump, we may not be “changed, in the twinkling of an eye”.

It’s amazing that only in the last few years have I ‘felt led’ to start looking at the Bible (especially its many prophecies) from a 2nd Temple Jewish point of view. What did the people living in the time of the Mashiach Nagid, Yeshua, actually believe. They believed in the Book of Enoch, the Book of Jubilees and Jasher, etc. And so, yes, it does seem that some sort of genetic manipulation took place prior to the flood. The fallen angelic order, desiring not to be replaced (for the believer in Yeshua has an eternal destiny to replace these fallen angels), tried to corrupt the DNA so the mashiach/messiah could not be born and save us. Thankfully God pulled weight and prevented that from happening. Many Christians have no clue just how radical the incarnation was and what it was for – to preserve us, the only physical-spiritual hybrids in existence. They want we had – the ability procreate. The fallen angels can’t replace themselves. We can. They can’t repent. We can. They cannot be saved. We can. They can only try to corrupt us, deceive us, enslave us, etc to keep us from Yeshua. Keep the faith all who read this. Simple faith that Yeshua was who he claimed. Start from there.

Daniel. Amen! Appreciate your comments. The angelic sons of God are a fascinating topic. We only get glimpses into that realm. But one day we will see fully!
