Alpha & Omega — Session 2 — A Vision of the Son of Man

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.

[Revelation 1:17-18]

All throughout history, the Biblical prophets have been given the unique privilege to see behind the veil and behold the Lord Jesus Christ in His divine glory. Whether Moses, Ezekiel, Isaiah or Daniel, God has used visions to reveal Himself in a personal yet profound way.

John was the last of the prophets to see a vision of the Son of Man, and it is not unlike many of the great prophets before him.

The following session unpacks chapter 1 of Revelation and discovers the true identity of John’s closest earthly friend — Jesus of Nazareth.
