Alpha and Omega — Introduction

Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Having preached through the early chapters of Genesis in 2020 … God led me to study and teach the last prophetic book in Scripture — the Revelation of Jesus Christ. In 2021 I have taken our local congregation on a journey of discovery through the book of Revelation — using weekly audio/video messages, digital power points and small group Bible studies.

I will now begin to release these messages and resources through my blog for free with a short recap of each Session and digital links to all the free material.

My only request is that none of these materials are sold or reproduced for financial gain — the gospel is free. Use and share these resources freely with others. These lessons were created to be studied, tested, shared, and applied among the believing community for discipleship and the edification of the saints in these last days — and all the more as we see the Day approaching.

This session discusses the historical and Biblical context, authorship, audience, purpose, and literary genre of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
