Historically, the Dragon has used proxy human kings and kingdoms to hold sway over the world. Many antichrists have come into the world — but Satan is preparing one final king — the Beast — to rule his end times kingdom. The central focus of all Scripture is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the archetype hero of all time. He is Lord over Heaven and Earth. No power or prince or king or god can even begin to compare with the King of kings, the Lord of lords, God of gods, and Prince of princes. He is supremely superior to everything and anyone in heaven or on the earth or under the earth. Yeshua Messiah is the One and Only Son of God and Savior of all worlds.

Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, 8but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 9And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

There is an ancient war still raging between God and His Son and that ancient Serpent — the devil. Our enemy goes by many names but he has one goal. To steal, kill, and destroy.

The woman in the wilderness is a portrayal of God’s covenant love to a wayward people leading her through the most perilous journey in order to turn her heart back to her One and Only True God and bring her home pure and spotless in the end!

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

The Bible has much to say about the blowing of the trumpets — or the blasting of the shofar. Whether sounding a warning, declaring a battle cry, gathering the people for an appointed festival, or coronating the king, the role of trumpets is significant to God’s people.

When Jesus stood at the base of Mt. Hermon near Caesarea Philippi — at the very mouth of the ancient “gates of hell” — He made a public proclamation of war against the forces of darkness — pronouncing judgment on the powers of hell. The evil one will not prevail in the end! But only those in Christ will conquer.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. 4For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

The gospel commission to go and make disciples is the conquest of gaining back ground and redeeming captives and reclaiming the nations from the devil and his angels. We labor with joy to that end until the very end!
However, there is coming a day when the devil will make his move to open the gates of hell, release his own supernatural army as the destroyers of the earth in preparing for the Day of the LORD and the battle of Armageddon. The prophet Joel projected this fateful time.

In the same way Jesus entered Jerusalem humble and riding on a donkey to the cries of the people saying, “Hosanna in the highest,” He will return to Jerusalem one day in power and glory to the same cries of the heavenly host, as all of heaven ushers Jesus back to earth to bring everything under His feet.
