“The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.”
[2 Thessalonians 2:9-10]

Imagine a scenario where a leading government official running for office is caught incriminating himself on camera just before a major election.
Imagine the leading pastor of a major Christian denomination videoed fleeing the scene of a crime or walking out of strip club.
Imagine a law enforcement official inciting violence by using racial slurs during a public announcement.
Imagine a gospel preacher uttering all sorts of false teachings and denouncing the faith on his latest video blog.
Now imagine that none of those scenarios were real, but deep fake forgeries created by artificial intelligence.
Welcome to the modern age, where big tech and social media has a monopoly on information, and where it is becoming increasingly more difficult to discern what is real from what is fake.
We are past the days of fake news, where bogus stories are circulated to draw a public reaction and media magicians spin false information to satisfy their bias.
We have entered into the new and seriously threatening realm of artificial news — the latest medium of mass deception and satanic influence.
Just this past week, two British artists released a doctored video of Facebook’s chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, to challenge Facebook’s policy on censoring fake news. Although most views were able to quickly discern that the video was produced artificially, the point had been made.
What is line between free speech, hate speech, and fake speech? And who gets to decide how to censor artificial news?
Artificial news is just one of many threats to our modern, tech-dependent, culture. With around the clock surveillance, social media data collection, facial recognition software, global GPS monitoring and tracking, and the total invasion of our privacy, A.I. is building a complete profile on every single person on the planet.
Let that sink in for a minute.
Artificial News a Threat to National Security
Just this week several headlines captured my attention. The first story reveals how scientists working with Adobe continue to push the A.I. envelope by developing software that allows anyone to edit anything said on video. Obviously the implications and potential applications of this technology should give us pause and concern.
You can read the article and watch the video demonstration here.
The Associated Press also released an article this week, bringing attention to the possibility of deep fake artificial news videos threatening the 2020 presidential election. Lawmakers are taking the threat seriously, but there are no real solutions as to how to curb potential deception and misinformation.
“Clint Watts, a research fellow with the Foreign Policy Research Institute, suggested tech companies should play a role in deciding which false videos should be taken down from the internet. But that idea drew skepticism from the committee’s top Republican, California Rep. Devin Nunes. He raised concerns about granting too much authority to tech giants such as Facebook and Twitter to make judgment calls about content … U.S. intelligence officials have repeatedly warned about the threat of foreign meddling in American politics, especially in the lead-up to elections.”

As I have said before, the technology that is revealed to the public is years, maybe decades, behind what is in the hands of the technological community. I would dare say that we can trust next to no one who has the control over this power and information.
Artificial intelligence in my estimation will be the primary means of satanic deception and one of the primary tools that the devil uses in the last days to captivate the masses with his false signs and lying wonders.
I don’t believe that we should be concerned if A.I. falls into the wrong hands. I believe A.I. is the wrong hand. A.I. is not neutral. It is the very supernatural, demonic source of power that has been at work from the beginning, attempting to destroy God’s people and disrupt God’s plan.
Even Hugo de Garis, who is the primary creator behind the development the first artificial brain, has said that “either we will kill A.I., or A.I. will kill us.”
Our generation is facing a threat unlike any the world has ever faced before. Artificial Intelligence is satanic at its core, and it’s purpose is to destroy the human race. The church must be prepared to stand up against false accusations, criminal blackmail, public defamation, and manufactured scandals. And we also must begin praying for a level of spiritual discernment that is only possible through the mind of Christ and the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.
May God have mercy on this last generation.
